HISTORY, ART PIECE & BOARD
Our History
In 1993 the former St. Sophia Catholic School was to be decommissioned and the community lobbied the Catholic School Board to leave part of the facility on site for use by the community.
Public Art Piece
We are delighted to have a piece of public art on our building! Artist Scott Sueme created ARC Mural 2014 in coordination with the Edmonton Arts Council.
Our Board
The Abbottsfield Recreation Centre Society Board of Directors meets 10 times a year on the last Monday of the month. The AGM is usually held in April of each year and we are always looking for new members.
